It could be an individual story such as a special milestone or relationship that links the object with the child. And of course, (Giddy Aunt's personal favourite), it could be a story that sparks the imagination! Something that encourages the questions "what if…" or "I wonder…" and opens up whole new worlds of possibility and dreams.

When a child comes to you, eyes wide and hands cupped around something, whispering, "it's precious", your heart fills. You're taken back to a time when you also believed that something could be really and truly precious.
